Experience
Microsoft · App Studio2026
Product Design Intern — Redmond, WA

App-building integration within Microsoft Copilot Studio, from initiative kickoff through MVP release.

  • Designed an interactive system of components for Copilot Studio’s agentic chat, spanning 4 scalable patterns that improved visibility into AI work and enabled users to act in conversation; partnered with research to validate the direction through unmoderated usability testing with 24 participants.
  • Shipped an approval framework for agent-initiated tool calls, letting users authorize actions before execution. Defined implementation rules for content, component behavior, and actions that scale as new tool calls are introduced; partnered with PM and engineering to implement the framework across every MVP launch scenario.
  • Led the end-to-end redesign of Microsoft’s internal AI evaluation platform, unifying fragmented legacy workflows around how engineers inspect and evaluate agent runs; now used by Microsoft engineering teams to evaluate agents across Copilot Studio and Copilot Cowork.
  • Audited 8 competing AI app builders across 300+ annotated screens, identifying data-management patterns that informed early product direction across design and PM.
